Malizole Mdlekeza

By profession, I am a qualified South African pensions and investment actuary who is passionate about thought leadership and is committed to using those skills to contribute to and positively impact South African financial services and South African society at large.

 Qualified as one of the first 20+ South African (fellow) black actuaries in 2016, gained a total of 6 qualifications to date, and gained 12 years experience in SA financial services thus far.

​

I serve as the founder & managing director of MDM Actuaries, the chairman of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA) Alternative Investments Forum, as well as a lecturer in Actuarial Sciencea at the University of Cape Town (UCT).

​

Selected as one of the Mail & Guardian's Top 200 South Africans of 2017, I remain committed to making a positive change in South African financial services & society.
